Summary:The symposium, entitled "A Celebration of Textual Scholarship" will be held at the University of Birmingham (Learning Centre, room LG32) on the 28th and 29th of September.

After many months of preparation, the program for the ITSEE launch is now ready. The symposium, entitled "A Celebration of Textual Scholarship" will be held at the University of Birmingham (Learning Centre, room LG32) on the 28th and 29th of September.

The formal launch will take place at the Barber Institute and consists of a lecture by Professor Geert Lernout, entitled ?The Spirit and the Letter? and a short presentation about the work at ITSEE.

Other speakers include: Joao Dionisio, Keith Elliot, Dirk van Hulle, Hikmat Kachouh, Jim Mays, Michael Reeve, Wendy Phillips-Rodriguez, Peter Shillingsburg, Eric Stanley, Holger Strutwolf and Marta Werner.

The symposium will take place at the Learning Centre, room LG32. Entrance is free, but spaces are limited. To book a place contact Ali Welsby (asw592@bham.ac.uk)
