The TEI Council has set Fri 01 Sep 2006 as the deadline for posting feature requests to be considered for TEI P5 release 1.0.
So if you have any suggestions or ideas for P5, submit them soon. While there will be releases of P5 after 1.0, those future releases will need to maintain backwards compatibility (with 1.0). Thus the need to submit feature requests that are not backwards compatible with the current alpha test release (0.4.1) is especially strong.
To submit a feature request, surf over to http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=106328&atid=644065 and click on "Submit New". It is not necessary to log in to Sourceforge, or even to have a Sourceforge account, to submit a feature request. However, it is nicer because if you have logged in you can be notified when any actions are taken on your request, including when comments are posted.
